What starts as a bizarre body-focused psychological horror story becomes increasingly disturbing as the main character's mental state begins to unravel.
Masked men. Violence. A coworker in danger. A nervous breakdown. And a whole lot of WTF moments.
Johnny Spoiler went into Fingers hoping the Summer Slasher Movie Marathon would uncover an overlooked indie horror classic.
Instead, this one left him asking whether it was even worth watching in the first place.

Sometimes an obscure horror movie turns out to be an incredible hidden gem.
Sometimes it's a movie you watch so you can tell everyone else they don't need to.
This is one of those movies.
👀 FAMILIAR HORROR FACES
The cast does give horror fans a couple of reasons to pay attention.
Michael St. Michaels, best known to many genre fans as Big Ronnie in The Greasy Strangler, appears in the movie.
Jeremy Gardner, who starred in the acclaimed indie zombie movie The Battery, is another familiar face in the cast.
So while Fingers may not have delivered the hidden-gem experience Johnny wanted, there are definitely some recognizable names for fans of independent horror.
🏴☠️ PIRATES 6: JOHNNY DEPP AS CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW?
The episode also gets into some major movie news.
At D23, producer Jerry Bruckheimer reportedly discussed conversations with Johnny Depp about a possible return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates 6.
And that's not the only Pirates rumor making noise.

If Fingers wasn't Johnny's favorite movie of the week, the Staff Pick is a completely different story.
Night Patrol (2026) throws rival gangs together when they have to fight a task force of vampire cops.
And yes, it sounds exactly as crazy as it should.

But what makes Night Patrol especially interesting is the supernatural mythology behind the story.
The movie incorporates Zulu myths and vampirism, while one of the gangs has an entertaining collection of supernatural knowledge, monster theories and completely wild explanations for what's happening.
It's the kind of genre mashup that gives the movie personality.
And Johnny Spoiler's verdict?
The Staff Pick was better than the movie of the week.
Which isn't exactly good news for Fingers.

So where does Fingers land?
If you're a hardcore indie-horror fan and want to explore something strange and unconventional, maybe Fingers will hit differently for you.
