Silver Bullet (1985): Stephen King's Small-Town Werewolf Nightmare

Small town.

Unexplained murders.

Full moon.

Gary Busey.

We're home.

Silver Bullet (1985) adapts Stephen King's Cycle of the Werewolf and follows young Marty Coslaw as he becomes convinced that the murders terrifying his town are being committed by a werewolf.

Naturally, convincing adults is another matter.

The movie combines small-town horror, family adventure and monster-movie fun in exactly the way you'd expect from an '80s Stephen King adaptation.

And yes, Marty's ridiculously awesome motorized wheelchair is called the Silver Bullet.

Night 12 is pure comfort-food werewolf cinema.
