By movie six, The Howling franchise has officially gone everywhere.

Tonight we're joining the carnival.

Howling VI: The Freaks (1991) follows a mysterious drifter who finds himself involved with a traveling freak show—and the supernatural creatures hiding inside it.

Werewolves and carnival horror actually make a pretty natural combination.

Both deal with outsiders.

Both involve people hiding unusual identities.

And both can get extremely creepy after dark.

We're almost two-thirds of the way through our werewolf marathon, and the genre keeps finding new places to hide monsters.
